For my Capstone project, I worked with a team to design and develop a complete web solution for a fictional client – BNMC MRI Clinic. We followed the entire product development cycle, starting with in-depth user research to understand the client’s audience and business goals.
As the elected team lead, I coordinated communication between team members, set project milestones, and ensured we stayed on track. I led brainstorming sessions, facilitated design critiques, and helped resolve challenges as they arose. My primary responsibility was to design and build the homepage, where I applied principles of responsive web design, semantic HTML, and accessible navigation.
We began the design process with low-fidelity wireframes. Regular feedback sessions allowed us to iterate quickly and refine our ideas. During development, we divided tasks based on each member’s strengths, using Git for version control and collaborative coding. I also helped integrate interactive JavaScript features and ensured our code met modern web standards.
At the end of the project, we presented a polished, user-centered website that addressed the client’s needs and provided a seamless user experience across devices. This capstone experience strengthened my leadership, communication, and technical skills, and gave me valuable insight into real-world front-end development workflows.
Goals:
