I’m originally from Tacoma, WA, and now I call Calgary, Alberta home. My design journey started as a teenager, fueled by a passion for creating custom MySpace layouts. Around the same time, I joined my school’s Yearbook Committee, where I quickly fell in love with typography, colour theory, and layout design.
After school, I immersed myself in the local punk and hardcore music scene while continuing to explore my artistic side. I spent several years working in radio marketing before transitioning to a local magazine publisher. There, I collaborated with incredibly talented creatives who encouraged me to dive into whatever sparked my curiosity. I explored hand-lettering, got my art published, and even wrote articles for the magazine.
Today, I’m a designer and front-end developer with a soft spot for accessible, people-first design. I have a keen eye for the little details that make a big difference, and I firmly believe that creative expression beats rigid rules any day. Right now, I’m sharpening my development skills, filling my portfolio, and searching for a team that values empathy, creativity, and inclusive design.
